What is a screening LCA suitable for?

If you have not yet had any contact with the topic of LCA, a so-called screening LCA is a sensible first step. A screening LCA is a type of superficial life cycle assessment that is based on the relevant ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 standards, but does not have the same depth of content as a fully compliant LCA. It is particularly suitable as a basis for internal decision-making processes. A screening LCA provides a sufficiently accurate picture of your status quo and is not intended for advertising purposes or published statements.
